AGAIN - this time with the MS download - my install REBOOTS at "Expanding Files 27%" --- always at 27% --- and NOW i got this error "Could Not Open Windows Image". Is there SOMEONE here who has an idea what this is about? i've been trying to get this thing installed for two weeks.
This time i ran it from within a brand new XP install on D:, trying to get an Upgrade Install out of it. It still insists on Disabling the Upgrade because C: doesn't have enough room.
Help, someone?

"Installation Could Not Open Windows Image file"
Yes, same here. Someone tell us what the "Could Not Open Windows Image" error is about..
I have the same problem..
(hopefully redownloading will help out this issue here)

it won't - i've attempted this with about 5 different Vista versions.
i'm reading something now about RAM being unable to open Large image files (there's a very large *.wim file in this install)... if no one in here knows i'll find it elsewhere...

I, truthfully, think that my ISO downloaded that night was corrupt, since it said the autorun file was corrupted.. so I was attempting to download again and see what happens. Hopefully, this will help. :)
